Tokayev receives Head of National center of neurosurgery Serik Akshulakov

During the meeting, the Head of state was informed about the results of the Center's work over the past 10 years and prospects for its further development.

In particular, Serik Akshulakov told the President about new areas in the activities of the Center, such as microsurgery, endovascular, endoscopic, functional neurosurgery. In addition, he announced upcoming introduction of the first complex in Central Asia called "gamma knife" in the center, which will allow to carry out complex neurosurgical operations.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the importance of providing highly qualified and affordable medical care for people, which should cover all regions of our country.
