Majilis prepares for the Fourth meeting of European and Asian parliaments speakers

Majilis is preparing for the Fourth meeting of parliaments speakers of Europe and Asia, timed to the 25th anniversary of the Eurasian idea of the First President of Kazakhstan-Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. It was reported by press service of Majilis. 

"The Majilis is preparing for the IV meeting of speakers of parliaments of Europe and Asia, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Eurasian idea of Nursultan Nazarbayev. Today, parliamentary delegations from more than 60 countries and 16 international organizations have confirmed their participation in this international forum, - tweeted Nurlan Nigmatulin.

Parliamentary forum on "Big Eurasia: Dialogue. Trust. Partnership." will be held in Nur-Sultan 23-24 September 2019.

Several countries such as Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, France, Croatia, and Montenegro, Afghanistan, Vietnam, India, Jordan, Iran, Qatar, China, Kuwait, Malaysia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, South Korea, Japan have confirmed their participation in the forum. The CIS States are represented by delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

In addition, the event will be attended by representatives of international organizations such as the OSCE and CSTO parliamentary assemblies, Inter-parliamentary alliance, Asian parliamentary assembly, CICMA, Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and more.

The parliamentary event of such a high level in Kazakhstan is held for the first time in order to establish a direct multilateral dialogue between the heads of legislative bodies of the Eurasian States, confidence-building and further expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Dozens of bilateral meetings that are planned on the sidelines of the forum, various platforms for discussing issues relevant to the sustainable development of Europe and Asia will allow parliamentarians of the world's largest continent to coordinate their efforts and contribute to improving the well-being of the peoples of their countries.

The event will be covered by local and international media such as "Euronews", "New Europe", "EFE", "CNBC Arabia", Global Times, "Xinhua", "Russia 24", "First channel" and others.
