Sep. 19, 2019, at a press conference in the Government, the Vice Minister of Energy Sungat Yesimkhanov spoke about the work to modernize electric networks and prepare for the heating season, wrote PM's press service.

According to him, the modernization of electric networks is carried out in a regular mode in Kazakhstan.

“All leading organizations are subjects of natural monopolies and are regulated by the Committee of Natural Monopolies, therefore there are corresponding medium-term tariffs where there are approved investment programs. Therefore, a fairly serious modernization is going through the tariff, there is also new construction, which comes at the expense of local executive bodies. So, in the suburbs near major cities, the state finances the construction of new electric networks, in this part control is underway,” said the vice minister of energy.

At the same time, Yesimkhanov noted that 428 boiler houses have been repaired today, which is 93% of the annual plan.

“We have quite a lot of autonomous boiler houses in schools and hospitals throughout the country, so there will be no problems with heat supply, and work is also being done to remove the boilers from the basements so that they stand separately for safety measures,” the vice minister said.

In addition, Yesimkhanov emphasized that temperature schedules of heating networks are published on the websites of the Ministry of Energy and the Committee for Energy Supervision. In case of non-compliance with these schedules, it is necessary to contact, first of all, the heat transfer organizations that provide temperature conditions. Together with the Akimat, commissions will be created that will travel to places and determine the reasons.

“Such appeals are also addressed to our Energy Supervision Committee. Then our territorial departments immediately leave. Therefore, you can additionally contact our territorial energy supervision departments. All data and coordinates also hang on the site,” said the vice minister.
