Tokayev speaks at the High-Level Forum on Sustainable Development

The President of Kazakhstan spoke at the High-Level Forum on Sustainable Development under the auspices of the UN General Assembly, press service of Akorda reports.

In his speech which was the first in the program of the event, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the sustainable development goals until 2030 provided humanity with a clear roadmap to achieve a better future where everyone will equally be able to benefit from social, technological and economic progress.

The Head of state stressed that Kazakhstan shares the general concern about the international community's lagging behind in achieving the sustainable development goals. The President expressed the need for decisive action in the coming decade to ensure results.
