The Golden man is represented in Malaysia

The national Museum of Kazakhstan opened exhibition "The great steppe: history and culture" in Kuala Lumpur which will be held from 1 to 31 October 2019 in the framework of the international project "Procession of the Golden man to the museums of the world", press service of the museum reports. 

The purpose of the exhibition is to introduce rich historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan to foreign viewers. The exhibition will feature the symbol of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The Golden man".

The opening ceremony was attended by Director of the National Museum Arystanbek Mukhamediuly, Minister of tourism, arts and culture of Malaysia Datuk Mohamaddin Bin Ketapi, Ambassador extraordinary And Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Malaysia Imanbayev Bolat and Director General of the Department of museums Datuk Kamarul Baharin bin A. Kasim.

The exhibition presents 346 items from the collections of the National Museum of Kazakhstan. The masterpieces of ancient and medieval art of Kazakhstan presented at the exhibition are only a small part of the creations of nameless masters of the past, reflecting the identity of the heritage of the steppe culture of Eurasia.
