During the meeting, the First President of Kazakhstan stressed that Kazakhstan and Mongolia are historically close nations.

- Since the first days of independence, I have tried to strengthen relations between Kazakhstan and Mongolia. We are historically close nations. One hundred and twenty thousand citizens of Mongolia of Kazakh nationality is a "living bridge" between our countries. You had talks with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. You are also planning to take part in a business forum. Today, the level of trade between our countries is very low. I am sure that You will solve all the issues," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

In turn, the Prime Minister of Mongolia expressed gratitude to the First President of Kazakhstan for the warm welcome and meeting at such a high level.

- I am very glad that I am in Kazakhstan on an official visit. I appreciate you meeting me. I am sure that my first visit will deepen our relations and raise them to a new qualitative level. I am proud to have personally seen the success of Kazakhstan achieved under Your leadership, said Ohnehin of Khurelsukh.
