Head of state receives the Chairman of the Supreme court Zhakip Asanov

The President was informed about the results of the activities of the Supreme court for 9 months of 2019 and the ongoing work to improve the judicial system.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also informed about measures to improve the system of selection of judicial personnel, ensure uniform judicial practice, modernize justice, including the establishment of centers of extrajudicial reconciliation, family courts and front offices.

The Head of state pointed to the need to increase public confidence in the work of judges, fair consideration of citizens' appeals and improve the quality of court decisions.

The President instructed to take measures to reduce the burden on judges, rid them of the consideration of unusual cases that adversely affect the quality of court decisions, and also stated the importance of continuing to work on improving the competence of the judiciary.
