Elbasy meets with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzō Abe

During the meeting, the First President of Kazakhstan thanked Shinzō Abe for the invitation to participate in the enthronement ceremony of Emperor Naruhito.

During the talks, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and development of trade and economic relations.

Shinzo Abe expressed support for Kazakhstan's anti-nuclear initiatives and measures taken to counter the proliferation of mass destruction weapon.

In addition, the First President of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister of Japan exchanged views on the situation on the Korean Peninsula, noting the importance of peaceful settlement of conflicts both in the region and in other parts of the world.
