Nazarbayev awarded the title of Honorary doctor of University of Tsukuba

During the ceremony Elbasy noted that University of Tsukuba is a world-class educational and research center, known for its deep history.

- It is worth the fact that Tsukuba is among the Japanese Universities with the largest number of Nobel laureates. Your University is the most popular among Kazakhstanis, 105 of our students have already received diplomas of Tsukuba. And most of them are fellows of the Bolashak program,- the First President of Kazakhstan said.

Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed that awarding him the title of Honorary doctor is a sign of respect to all the people of Kazakhstan.

- I have always stressed great importance of education development and youth policy in our country. We are glad that the cult of knowledge in our country has become an integral part of society, - said Elbasy.

At the end of the speech, the First President of Kazakhstan congratulated all participants of the ceremony on the ascension to the throne of Emperor Naruhito and the advent of the "Reiwa" era in Japan.
