Tokayev gives Vladimir Putin the novel "Abay zholy"

At the end of the official events of the interregional cooperation forum in Omsk, the heads of state exchanged gifts. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of Kazakhstan Berik Uali on his Facebook page.

Vladimir Putin presented Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with an exclusive handmade chess set made of marble and malachite, decorated with silver and gold.

The President of Kazakhstan presented his Russian president with two-volume edition of Mukhtar Auezov's novel "Abay zholy", released to mark the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet and author Abay Kunanbayev.
