Head of state meets with CNPC board chairman

The Head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNPC Corporation Wang Yilin, press service of Akorda reports. 

The President of Kazakhstan highly appreciated the progressive development of good-neighborly Kazakh-Chinese relations, noting the contribution of CNPC to the socio-economic development of the country.

- The CNPC company is present both in oil production, and in spheres of processing, transportation of hydrocarbons. The projects carried out by your Corporation play a very important role in the economy of Kazakhstan, - said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The President set CNPC management a number of tasks related to increasing the wages of Kazakhstani employees, bringing the level of wages in line with payments to foreign employees, as well as increasing the share of Kazakhstani content in the procurement of goods and services.

Wang Yilin thanked the Head of state for the support provided and expressed full understanding of the tasks set for the company aimed at further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
