Kazakhstan wins four bronze medals at World Para Dance Championship

Kazakh athletes won four bronze medals at the World Para Dance Championship which was held in Bonn, Germany, from November 29 to December 1.

According To the national Paralympic Committee of Kazakhstan, 225 athletes from 26 countries took part in the competition.

Kazakhstan was represented by 19 athletes. Ardak Otorbayev and Aidana Beglenova took 3rd place in Combi Freestyle 1, Ermek Kalymbetov and Kulshum Atalykova-3rd place in Combi Freestyle, Ardak Otorbayev-3rd place in Men's Single Class 1, Karlygash Tynabekva and Ardak Otorbayev won bronze in Duo standard 1. 

The 2019 World Para Dance Sport Championships was held in Bonn, the home of the Paralympic Movement.

It was the first major Para-sport event to take place in Bonn, which has headquartered the International Paralympic Committee since 1999.

Supported by the City of Bonn, Aktion Mensch and Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung, it was the biggest-ever World Para Dance Sport Championships, with 225 athletes - 124 women and 101 men - from 26 countries competing across 21 medal events.

Each day of action featured seven medal events.
