Abish Kekilbayev street appears in the capital

One of the capital's streets was named in honor of the people's writer of Kazakhstan, Hero of Labor, public and political figure Abish Kekilbayev.

The official opening of the street was attended by Secretary of state Krymbek Kusherbayev, akim of Nur-Sultan Altai Kulginov, public and political figures, including Deputy of the Majilis Kuanysh Sultanov, as well as academician, state and public figure Kenzhegali Sagadiyev.

The street was opened by the state Secretary, akim of Nur-Sultan and the wife of the writer Clara Zhumabaykyzy.

Abish Kekilbayev street is located near the EXPO town. Another street in honor of the Kazakh poet Fariza Ongarsynova was recently opened near here.

It should be noted that December 6 is the birthday of Abish Kekilbayev, he would have turned 80 years old. Today, a ceremony of laying flowers on the grave of the writer in the National Pantheon will be held. In Addition, the Palace of peace and harmony will host an evening in memory of Abish Kekilbayev.
