Presidents of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan agree to meet in 2020

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the press service of Akorda reports.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed gratitude to his Tajik counterpart for congratulating him on the 28th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.

During the conversation, the presidents of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan noted with satisfaction the progressive development of bilateral relations in almost all areas. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the two countries cooperate constructively in the international arena.

Discussing the prospects for further strengthening of mutual cooperation, the heads of state agreed to organize their meeting in 2020 in the capital of Kazakhstan.
