The weather forecast for January 7-9 in Kazakhstan was announced by "Kazgidromet". 

A cyclone has shifted to the southern regions of Kazakhstan, which will cause precipitation, mainly sleet, fog, ice and a slight decrease in air temperature. And the rest of the territory of the Republic will be in the zone of influence of atmospheric fronts, shifting from the European part of Russia. Here the front will cause scattered snow, blizzard, gusty winds and also the lowering of the temperature. Despite the cold snap, the air temperature is expected to be higher than the climate norm, only in the South and East the temperature is expected to be within the average long-term values.
