State labor inspectors protected the rights of 41 thousand employees in 2019

In 2019, state labor inspectors in 1,771 enterprises of the Republic identified wage arrears to 43.3 thousand employees in the amount of more than 6.1 billion tenge, the press service of the Ministry of labor and social protection reports.

As a result of the taken measures, including the establishment of strict schedules and deadlines for repayment of wage arrears, the rights of more than 41 thousand employees are protected.

They were paid 5.4 billion tenge. Heads of enterprises were issued 1,285 mandatory orders and fined more than 141 million tenge.

In general, in 2019, state labor inspectors conducted 9,513 inspections, identified more than 12,900 different violations of labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and imposed fines in the amount of 467 million tenge.
