32 flights are delayed at the capital's airport as weather conditions worsen

32 flights are currently delayed at the Nursultan Nazarbayev International airport due to bad weather conditions, press service of the airport reports.

17 flights are delayed on arrival due to the late arrival of the aircraft from other cities and bad weather conditions at the destination airport:

- 9 flights of Air Astana (including international flights to the cities of Omsk, Tashkent, Moscow and Kiev);

- 2 flights of Qazaq Air - to Almaty and Kostanay;

- 3 flights of Fly Arystan - to Pavlodar and Kostanay;

3 flights of SCAT - to Ulaanbaatar, Almaty and Aktobe;

One flight of LOT Polish airlines to Warsaw.​

There are 15 flight delays on departure due to the late arrival of the aircraft from other cities and bad weather conditions at the departure airport:

7 flights of Air Astana (including international flights to Tashkent and Moscow);

- 2 flights of Qazaq Air - to Aktobe and Kostanay;

2 flights of Fly Arystan - to Kostanay and Almaty

one flight of LOT Polish to Warsaw, Lufthansa - to Frankfurt, Turkish Airlines-to Istanbul and SCAT-to Almaty.

Due to strong wind gusts (from 15 m/s and higher) anti-icing liquid use on aircrafts is not allowed for safety reasons.
