536 tourists from Chinese resorts arrive in Kazakhstan

536 tourists have returned to Kazakhstan from resorts in China. There are also foreign citizens among the arrivals, the  Tourism Industry Committee reports.

295 tourists arrived from Sanya to Nur-Sultan at 19:50 hours (January 28), and 241 people arrived from Haikou to Almaty on January 29 at 00:25 hours, the Committee says.

525 people are Kazakhstan citizens and 11 of them are foreign citizens. Information about passengers were sent to the Ministry of health. According to airport employees, there was no emergency cases.

Meanwhile, on January 29, at 17:30, 235 people are expected to return from Sanya to Almaty, including 201 Kazakh tourists. Earlier it was reported that additional measures are being taken at the Almaty International airport to prevent the spread of a new type of coronavirus.
