German company is interested in partnership with Kazakhfilm

German company ARRI which has been working in the field of professional film equipment production for more than 100 years is interested in cooperation with Kazakhfilm on film studio modernization. Representatives of the German company ARRI arrived in Almaty for negotiations with the President of the Kazakhfilm Studio Arman Asenov, press service of the studio reports.

"The project was discussed in Germany and the analysis of the current situation of technical equipment of the Kazakhfilm Studio was carried out. We were sent to Almaty to discuss the possibility of our participation in the modernization of the Studio," Jorg Pohl, Director of ARRI System Group said at the meeting.

If an agreement is reached, Kazakhfilm and ARRI can continue working in tandem. The German side is interested in Kazakhfilm becoming the operator of the authorized ARRI service center in Central Asia.

A tour of the Studio was held for German guests. They visited the shooting pavilions, animation Studio, costume shop, laboratory and scenery of the ancient city of Syganak. The delegation was particularly impressed by the largest film production pavilion in Central Asia for the production of films using computer digital technology (GreenBox), which is currently being built at the expense of the internal reserve of the Film Studio.
