At the request of the Kazakh side, eight more of our citizens were evacuated from the Chinese city of Wuhan on special boards of Russia and Uzbekistan, Kazakh MFA reports.

Five of our citizens will be in Tashkent under two-week medical supervision, and the other three will be under observation in Tyumen.

Among the evacuees is also a 1st-year student of Yanji University, previously not released by the epidemiological services of the PRC because of the temperature.

Before boarding, the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan passed additional medical checks and among them there were no persons with high temperature or symptoms of coronavirus.

Recall that on February 3, Kazakhstan evacuated 83 citizens from Wuhan, including 80 students.
