New Energy vice-minister appointed in Kazakhstan

Janat Jahmetova is appointed vice-minister of energy of Kazakhstan, primeminister.kz reports.

J. Jakhmetova was born in 1986 in the Karaganda region.

She graduated from al-Farabi Kazakh national University, Baykonurov Zhezkazgan University and the University of Aberdeen.

She started her career in 2009 as a leading specialist in the testing laboratory of the JF JSC "National center for expertise and certification". In different years, she worked in the structural divisions of the Central state bodies responsible for the formation of state policy in the field of Informatization.

From July 2017 to the present, she worked as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Zerde National Infocommunication Holding.
