70 events to be held in Nur-Sultan in honor of the Victory anniversary

Preparations for holding festive events in the capital dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in World War II were discussed in the capital, the official website of the mayor's office reports.

"This year is special for us. Holding the 75th anniversary of the Victory is an important event. We all know that the Victory in the II World war has historical significance for Kazakhstan. It is necessary to convey this to the younger generation. Today, the concept of celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Victory has been prepared, " Deputy mayor of Nur-Sultan Baktiyar Maken said at the meeting.

About 70 events will be held in the city as part of the celebration. Among them are the March with the participation of 40 thousand people, distribution of Victory ribbons to residents and guests of the capital and other events.

According to the Department of public health, veterans of the war will undergo a comprehensive medical examination at home, including consultation with narrow specialists-ophthalmologists, cardiologists and others. Free medicine delivery to single veterans and disabled people will also continue.

The Metropolitan Council of veterans offered to organize a medical examination for veterans at home. In this regard, Baktiyar Maken instructed to organize a campaign to fully cover the medical examination of veterans. Reconstruction of monuments to war heroes and improvement of the territory adjacent to them. Currently, Nur 48 war veterans are living in Nur-Sultan.
