Plane with evacuated Kazakh citizens from China lands in Almaty

Today, at 7:00 am, a flight from Beijing arrived in Almaty with 211 passengers on board, including 171 Kazakh citizens and 40 citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

All passengers were admitted to a hospital in Almaty in compliance with all infection control requirements.

40 Kyrgyz citizens were flown to Bishkek.

The period of stay in the hospital is 3 days for a comprehensive medical examination and laboratory tests for coronavirus and SARS.

At the same time, the period of hospitalization may last if there are medical indications.

At the moment, the health status of the arrivals is satisfactory, no complaints, Kazakh Healthcare Ministry says.
