WBO rating: Kazakh boxer Kanat Islam ranked 3rd

Kanat Islam (27-0, 21 KO) rose to one position in the updated ranking of the world Boxing organization (WBO).

In the new ranking, the WBO International Middleweight titleholder is in third place, behind only Mexican Jaime Mungia (35-0, 28 KO) and British boxer Liam Williams (22-2-1, 17 KO). The WBO world Middleweight champion is US representative Demetrius Andrade (29-0, 18 KO).

Kanat held his last fight on October 26, 2019, in Almaty, where he won over Walter Kautondokwa (18-2, 17 KO) from Namibia. The result was very controversial. Representatives of the African after the fight did not agree with the verdict and announced their intention to appeal to the WBO.
