Kazakhstan and Singapore cooperation discussed

Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Singapore Arken Arystanov met with Samuel Tan, newly appointed Director-General of the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore MFA reports.

Arken Arystanov and Samuel Tan discussed the whole range of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Singapore. They paid primary focus to strengthen dialogue at the highest and other levels, as well as completing bilateral cooperation with good investment projects.

They expressed common understanding that recent visit of Dr Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry to Nur-Sultan confirmed the great potential and good opportunities for trade and investment cooperation. This coming easier with establishing effective transport and logistics channels between the two countries and between Central Asia and Southeast Asia. In addition, the issue of direct flights between our states was discussed.

They also stressed the importance of expanding the bilateral legal framework to ensure the necessary conditions for cooperation.
