Kazakh citizens from the “Diamond Princess” quarantined in Nur-Sultan

Kazakh citizens at the “Diamond Princess” cruise ship in Japan were returned home and placed in quarantine.

“On February 23, the Kazakh citizens at the “Diamond Princess” were returned to their homeland and placed in quarantine,"

Chairman of the Committee of public health Zhandarbek Bekshin says.

There were 20 passengers on board of the Tokyo - Nur-Sultan flight, 16 of them were Kazakh citizens and four Japanese.

All those who arrived were quarantined in a hospital located 7 km from the Kazakh capital. The students evacuated from Wuhan were also treated in this hospital.
