N.Nazarbayev meets with EEC​ Chairman of the board

During the meeting, the parties discussed the further development of relations between states within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, elbasy.kz reports.

Honorary Chairman of the EEU Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstan has always supported the idea of economic integration and supported it.

– Recently, large-scale work has been done by the member states of the Union. A large number of agreements have been signed. Joint decisions are made in many fields, the President said.

The first President of Kazakhstan assured M. Myasnikovich that he will provide him with full support in addressing issues of strengthening the Economic Union.

– During these years, the EEU has been successfully developing. Many countries are actively interested in it. Some want to be an observer, some want to join the Union. There is a lot of work to be done, including the development of integration with the European Union," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

In turn, M. Myasnikovich told about the negotiations with the leadership of Kazakhstan and plans for further work of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
