Vessels arriving from Azerbaijan and Iran suspended from Kazakh seaports

To prevent the spread of coronavirus the Ministry of industry and infrastructure development informs about the temporary suspension of services in the ports of Aktau and Kuryk for ships arriving from Azerbaijan and Iran and transporting people and vehicles with drivers from March 5 this year.

 For the crews of foreign cargo ships, a restriction on leaving ships in the ports of Aktau and Kuryk is introduced.

Sanitary and epidemiologic services will be tightened control over the Kazakh crew members of ships engaged in international carriage during their shift at the ports.

Information on the measures taken will be brought to the attention of the Maritime administrations of the Caspian States.
