Kazakhstan monitors citizens arriving from China and neighboring states, Healthcare Ministry says.

According to the Border Service of the National Security Committee, from February 1 to March 4 1 736 462 people arrived in the country, including 992 623 from the EEU countries.

Between January 6th and March 4th, 32,456 people crossed the state border between Kazakhstan and China.

Committee for Quality Control, Goods and Services Safety monitored 32,456 people who crossed the state border with China on entry-points in international airports and railway stations between January 6 and March 4.

Medical organizations continue to monitor the health of the arrivals from countries which are divided into 3 categories.

There are 391 people in 1 “A” quarantine, and 601 people in 1 “B” home isolation category.

60 people were hospitalized on March 5 with fever and acute respiratory viral infections.

A total of 7515 people were taken for monitoring.
