There are no fatalities in Kazakhstan, Deputy PM says

Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov denied the information about the fatalities in Kazakhstan indicated in some sources at a briefing in the government.

There are no fatal cases among people infected with coronavirus infection, the Deputy Prime Minister said.

To date, 5 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered today. In total, 49 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the country, including 22 cases in Almaty, 25 cases in the capital Nur-Sultan and 2 cofirmed cases today in  Karaganda.

This is the first case of Covid-19 infection registered outside of two big cities which are quarantined since March 19.
