Global coronavirus deaths near 10,000, Italy leads list

Italy's death toll from pandemic surpasses numbers from China as Beijing reports at least 228 new cases from abroad.

According to Johns Hopkins University (JHU), 244 517 cases have been registered worldwide, 10 030 fatalities. Also, 86 025 patients recovered in the world.

Italy has the biggest death toll 3 405 exceeding China which was the epicentre of the Covid-19. Whereas China has twice more registered cases 81 199 compare to Italy with 41 035 cases.
