Minister of Education and science Askhat Aimagambetov told about the features of new distance learning formats during the state of emergency.

On April 6, the fourth quarter began at schools. More than 3 million students have switched to distance learning.

The speaker noted that distance learning is conducted in several areas. Some students are taught through TV channels, some using Internet platforms. The Ministry of education and science of Kazakhstan recommended several Internet platforms adapted for distance learning. These platforms such as "Kundelik", "BILIM Land", "Daryn.Online", "Opiq" and others are known to most parents and teachers.

The Kundelik system alone had 2.2 million unique users today, and the number of sessions was 32 million.

According to the "Daryn.Online" more than 300 thousand school children were able to study. More than 400 thousand schoolchildren used the BILIM Land platform. Also on the platform "BILIM Land" with all the necessary "simulators" are placed all 3360 TV tracks.

The Minister added that on the first day there were minor failures in the work of the platforms due to a large number of sessions, these problems are being eliminated.

As for TV lessons, they were broadcast on dedicated TV channels according to a schedule that was communicated to all students and their parents.

According to the head of the Department, work is currently underway to connect sign language translation to TV channels.
