Kazakh, Hungarian Foreign ministers speak over phone

On the initiative of the Hungarian side, Kazakh Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign economic relations and foreign affairs of Hungary Péter Szijjártó.

The main topic of the conversation was the results of the extraordinary summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States held on April 10, 2020, in the format of a video conference.

In particular, they discussed ways of further active interaction of the Turkic-speaking countries in the current COVID-19 pandemic. The Hungarian side highly appreciated Kazakhstan's decision to provide humanitarian assistance (5 thousand tons of flour) to neighbouring countries Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

During the conversation, the parties agreed to intensify the strategic partnership between the two countries on a wide range of issues by paying attention to trade and economic cooperation.
