Flights between Kazakhstan and Turkey to resume

Minister of industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov told about plans on international flights at the Government session today.

"Currently, 349 flights a week are operated on 44 domestic routes. 188 thousand air tickets were sold. In addition, it is planned to gradually activate international flights. At the end of June, it is planned to resume an international flight between Kazakhstan and Turkey. In case of further improvement of the epidemiological situation, it is planned to resume air communication with other countries," Beibut Atamkulov said.

Since June 1 of this year, 54 passenger trains have been resumed in the country.

"In this regard, since may 15, tickets have been put up for sale. Until June 8, 645,000 tickets were sold to trains. In addition, construction and installation works are actively carried out on all sections of highways of national and local significance," the Minister said.
