Kazakhstan mourns Covid-19 victims today

Kazakh President attended the minute of silence ceremony in memory of the victims of the pandemic, Akorda says.

July 13 was declared a day of national mourning in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this regard, the National flag is lowered throughout the day in the country.

Today, on the day of national mourning in memory of the citizens who became victims of the coronavirus pandemic, a minute of silence was declared across the country at 12.00 pm.

In front of the Akorda residence, Head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid tribute to the victims of the Covid-19. In addition, the ceremony was attended by State Secretary Krymbek Kusherbayev, Head of the Presidential Administration Yerlan Koshanov, Secretary of the Security Council Asset Issekeshev, Head of the presidential Office Nurlan Onzhanov and Minister of Healthcare Alexey Tsoi.

A ceremony honoring the memory of the victims of the pandemic was held in all regions of the republic.
