Addressing the ceremony participants, the Head of State congratulated those present on the opening of the Year of Youth and stressed the importance of this event for new generations of Kazakhstanis.

- Youth is a key factor in the competitiveness of our country in the modern world. It is up to you - the future of Kazakhstan depends on your knowledge, energy and patriotism. Everything that we are doing now is being done for the sake of your happy life, so that you can fully realize your potential and potential, - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The President of Kazakhstan pointed out the urgency of the problem of housing for young families in large cities and stressed that to solve it, it is necessary to have a stable income, since work is the main source of human well-being.

- Last year, more than 125 thousand young people graduated from high school in Kazakhstan. In the medium term, the number of young people entering the labor market will only grow. Currently, there are about 300 thousand people in the country, or 9% of young people are not involved in educational and labor activities. It is necessary to take effective measures that will contribute to the annual reduction of this category of young people, the Head of State said.

Nursultan Nazarbayev separately focused on the key priorities of the qualitative development of the technical and vocational education system.

- It is necessary to develop a program "Zhas Maman", on the principle of "100/200." For three years, the project will cover about 200 thousand young citizens in all regions of the country. Within its framework, specialists will be trained in the 100 most demanded industrial and service professions on the basis of 200 modernized educational institutions, the President of Kazakhstan said.

In conclusion, the Head of State instructed the Government and local executive bodies to develop a special Roadmap, which should contain effective support tools designed to meet the urgent needs of young Kazakhstanis in affordable and high-quality education, work, housing and family formation.

Brazil’s version of Trump: why is it a «wake-up call» for the world?

A racist, a homophobe, a misogynist, a pro-torturer. Because of the profane outbursts and verbal abuse, he has earned such an image and was even considered as a political clown. Once he insulted lawmaker claiming that she was too ugly to be worth of raping. What is more, he said that he’d rather have a dead son than a gay one. Therefore, analysts concluded that Brazil has elected the most extremist president among democratic countries. So why did Brazil decide to make «really radical shift»? How did such an «extreme» and «unpleasant» figure become a president?
