Tour de France. Stage 9. Breakaway makes it to the finish in Brioude

Yet another day the breakaway made it all the way to the finish at the Tour de France. Daryl Impey won stage 9 after being part of the day’s breakaway of fifteen riders. The peloton finished 16 minutes behind today’s stage winner, including all GC contenders, reports the press service of the club.

Tour de France. Stage 6. Top 10 finish for Jakob Fuglsang on La Planche des Belles Filles

Finishing ninth on the summit finish of La Planche des Belles Filles, Jakob Fuglsang moved into the eleventh place overall after the first mountain stage at the Tour de France. The Dane was part of the group of GC favorites, finishing just behind the remaining riders of the early breakaway. Of this breakaway, Dylan Teuns took the stage win. Giulio Ciccone, who finished second, is the new overall leader, reports the press service of the club.

Tour de France. Stage 4. Bunch sprint in Nancy, solid day for Jakob Fuglsang

The second bunch sprint of the Tour de France was won by Elia Viviani, while Jakob Fuglsang stayed out of trouble during the finale together with his teammates. Halfway today’s stage 4, Magnus Cort and Gorka Izagirre were involved in a crash. Izagirre had no serious injuries, but Cort has a small fracture in one of his fingers, x-rays showed after the finish. He will be able to continue the race, reports the press service of the club.
