The Head of State appointed Bakytzhan Sagintayev as akim of the city of Almaty, the press service of Akorda reports.
“To appoint Bakytzhan Sagintayev as akim of the city of Almaty,” the text of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s Decree says.
Bauyrzhan Baybek, who previously held this post, was dismissed by decree of the Head of State in connection with his transfer to another job.
