Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev was informed about the current state of the Nur Otan party, the work carried out to activate the mechanisms of interaction with state bodies and ensure joint work with the Presidential Administration.
Bauyrzhan Baibek reported on the results of his trips to the regions, the activities of the party to strengthen the work with the primary party organizations and the process of cleansing the party ranks. He also reported on the termination of the work of the national coalition of democratic forces and plans for the institutional participation of the party in the work of the National Council of Public Confidence.
The head of state emphasized the importance of strengthening the feedback with the population. The President urged Nur Otan members to participate more actively in the life of the country, to be closer to the people.
- The party should become open and accessible to citizens, effectively protect the interests of the population, timely identifying and bringing to the state bodies the needs of the population. Nur Otan’s public reception in cooperation with the virtual reception of the President should become a real mechanism for solving people's problems, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev said.
