The first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Chairman of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin, elbasy.kz reports.
During the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev was informed about the current activities and work plans of the Nur Otan faction in the Majilis.
- Currently, the Majilis is considering 45 bills. All 3 factions have already started to work. Our faction's main aim is to control the implementation of Your instructions, the election program and the national Plan "100 concrete steps", - reported Nurlan Nigmatulin.
In addition, the President was informed about the preparations for the Meeting of Speakers of the Eurasian Countries' Parliaments.
- On September 23-24, delegates from 65 countries will take part in the meeting of speakers. Such a high-level parliamentary event is held in the country for the first time in the last 20 years. This year's meeting of speakers of parliaments of Europe and Asia is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Eurasian idea, - said the Chairman of the Majilis.
