Kazakh State Secretary Krymbek Kusherbayev awarded state scholarships of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy in culture for 2019 to 75 outstanding cultural workers.
The annual award recognizes cultural workers' outstanding contribution to the development of Kazakhstan's culture and its promotion in the world, the Ministry of Culture and sport says.
Masters of Kazakh literature and art Abdizhamil Nurpeisov, Asanali Ashimov, Myrzatay Zholdasbekov, Sabit Dosanov, Bibigul Tulegenova, Eskendir Khasangaliev, Kairat Baibosynov, Zhursin Yermanov, Meruert Utekesheva, Alexander Garkavets, Gulvira Razieva and others were awarded honorary scholarships of the First President – Elbasy.
State support is also provided to young talents, including the winner of the Cannes international film festival Samal Eslyamova, actress Ainur Rakhipova, ballet dancer Baktiyar Adamzhan, poet Kanat Omarov, performer of traditional musical art Medygat Manapov, film director Farhat Sharipov and others.
