Arystan Kabikenov: Kazakhstan ready to support Greek investors

Kazakhstan ready to support Greek investors, Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister for Investment and Development Arystan Kabikenov, Kazakh-Greek business forum held in Astana.

"Kazakhstan is planning to implement a project on digitalization several local industrial enterprises and disseminate the experience. That is why we actively cooperate with foreign business workers to exchange experience and achieve mutually profitable cooperation. I know that Greece has a lot of highly skilled specialists and engineers. Our Government is ready to support Greek investors. We can provide for Greek companies a platform where they can implement projects in the free economic and industrial zones", said Kabikenov.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kazakh Invest National Company, Birzhan Kaneshev noted Kazakhstan and Greece could successfully cooperate in the agriculture sector.

 Also, Executive Vice-Chairman of the SEV-Hellenic Federation of Enterprises of Greece, Konstantinos Bitsios stressed that Greece is ready to develop cooperation with Kazakhstan. "We are willing to develop cooperation with Kazakhstan, including through the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC)", he said.

Recall, the Kazakh Ministry for Investment and Development reports that two-way trade between Kazakhstan and Greece reached $980 million in 2017, showing a 10% growth compared to 2016.
