In Astana, the annual charity exhibition "I feel" was launched, devoted to the problem of cruel treatment of domestic pets. The exhibition is held within the framework of the program "Rukhani jangiru", reports astana.gov.kz.

More than 40 works are represented to the audience. Volunteer «Club of the good-wishers of Astana» organized the exhibition.

"At the exhibition, you can see stories about the fate of animals. For example, one of the works shows a woman who found a true pet friend. After the death of her husband, the dog helped to cope with a woman with depression. In addition, there are many of such stories. This year almost 250 people submitted the application for participation in the exhibition. Compared to the last year, it is five times more," said the founder of the club Gulmira Abdrasheva.

The main goal of the event is to draw attention to the fate of abandoned pets. In this way, the organizers try to eradicate indifference and violence towards animals.

"We have here a special box for donations. While the exhibition will work, each visitor can leave any amount of money, at will. All proceeds will be spent on vaccine, sterilization and pet food", she explained.

The event will hold until April 6. The entrance to the exhibition is free.
