Meeting of Commission on Digitalization Issues under the President of Kazakhstan held

The Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a meeting of the Commission on the Issues of Introduction of Digitalization under the President of Kazakhstan, reports primeminister.kz.

During the meeting, issues on the implementation of the State Program Digital Kazakhstan, the digitization of education and healthcare, as well as the provision of public services and the development of digital skills were discussed.

At the meeting, Minister for Information and Communications, D. Abayev, Healthcare, Y. Birtanov, Education and Science, Y. Sagadiyev, as well as chairman of the Government for Citizens State Corporation NJSC, A.Ospanov and the chairman of Zerde Holding JSC, R. Yensebayev, reported on the work carried out in these directions and further plans.

Recall, to date, 120 events are envisaged for the State program implementation. Legislative changes have been made to the tax code for the stimulation of the development of electronic commerce. The project of the international technopark of IT start-ups is being implemented. The concept for the creation of an international IT university in Astana has been developed.
