Kazakh PM holds a meeting of Samruk-Kazyna SWF Board of Directors

Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a meeting of the Board of SWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC on May 31 in Ukimet Uyi, reports primeminister.kz.

At the meeting, the risk management and internal control policy, approval of the reports of the Samruk-Kazyna Committees for the IV quarter of 2017, as well as the implementation of the updated Fund Transformation Program were discussed.

Recall, Samruk-Kazyna Fund was founded in 2008 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The mission of the investment holding is to increase the national welfare of Kazakhstan and support the modernization of the national economy. The Fund manages portfolio companies — to increase their long-term value and sustainable development, including through investing in the development of priority sectors of the national economy.
