Yerkin Ongarbayev dismissed from his post as chairman of Committee on Religious Affairs

By order of the Minister of Social Development, Ongarbayev Yerkin Anuarovich was dismissed from the post of Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry for Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Recall, in accordance with the decree of the Head of State No. 707 of 28.06.2018 "On Measures to Improve the System of Public Administration of Kazakhstan," the Ministry for Religious Affairs and Civil Society was renamed the Ministry of Social Development. The new agency was given the functions and powers of the Ministry of Culture and Sports to implement state policy in the sphere of public consent.

The mission of the Ministry of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the formation of constructive state-confessional relations, the strengthening of stability, the development of an effective system of partnership between the state and civil society institutions, the development and effective implementation of state youth and family policies.
