In 2019, 4,000 Kazakh children from other countries will study at schools in Kazakhstan. This was announced by the first deputy chairman of the World Association of Kazakhs Zautbek Turisbekov.

«Apart from Nazarbayev University, we have Nazarbayev intellectual schools. In total, there are 20 such schools in Kazakhstan. The schools are provided with an advanced educational system, which suits international standarts. Today we are negotiating with NIS; on the basis of these agreements, 4,000 students will be able to come to Kazakhstan next year and will study in these schools. Under this project, we can cover Kazakhs in other countries. Our goal is not only to educate them, but also introduce them to our children. Every year, 150 Kazakh children from other countries rest in the summer camp «Baldauren» in the Akmola region», said Zautbek Turisbekov, first deputy chairman of the World Association of Kazakhs.

According to him, within the framework of the educational project, schoolchildren from other countries will be introduced to the historical places of our country, and will organize events to strengthen patriotism.

It should be noted that on November 6, a meeting of Kazakhs from 10 countries was held in Astana, during which a presentation of the historical documentary film «Relatives which are far away» took place.

In addition, on November 7, in the Palace of Peace and Accordance, an international festival of arts «Sacred Kazakh Land» will be held with the participation of Kazakhs in foreign countries.
