First, they visited the consultative and diagnostic pediatric center at the Children's City Hospital No. 2, where the vice premier was presented the work of the emergency room and the surgical complex. They were built by the Sabi Charity Foundation headed by Assel Tasmagambetova as part of the social responsibility of business. The total cost of the project is 2.5 billion tenge.
At the Kazakh Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology, Abdykalikova familiarized herself with the center of molecular genetic research. The medical institution has modern equipment: computer and magnetic resonance tomographs, radiographic X-ray and ultrasound systems of expert class, ECG devices. All processes are carried out in digital format.
Then, the deputy prime minister visited MEIIRIM, Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities. It has created all the necessary conditions for the full development, socialization and education of children and adolescents with disabilities from 3 to 15 years. Since its opening (November 2018), about 200 children have undergone rehabilitation and socialization.
The next event was a visit to the Active Longevity Center, which has been operating since June 2018. He has a medical office, a yoga hall, computer literacy training rooms, Kazakh and English, and an occupational therapy office. During this time, about 900 retired people visited swimming pools and fitness for free, over 300 elderly people made free excursions to the Sunkar falcon nursery, the Medeu high-mountain sports complex, the Central State Museum, etc.
Abdykalikova and Saparbayev also inspected the Employment Center. Since the beginning of the year, 3.4 thousand people have been employed, 254 of them from low-income, large families. 717 people were provided with social jobs. Public works employed 2,5 thousand people.
There Abdykalikova held a reception of citizens. In particular, mother of four children Zhanna Toktasynova asked to find a job for her husband. The husband’s employment is a condition for receiving targeted social assistance. The issue was resolved — the deputy prime minister gave a specific order to the city leadership.
At the end of the first working day, she met with the youth of the city at the site of the SmArt Point co-working center. At the meeting, the ministers of labor and social protection of the population, information and social development, education and science, health, Almaty city akim, chairmen of committees on construction and housing and communal services, sports and physical culture spoke.
Opening the event, Abdykalikova stressed that Kazakhstan continues its progressive development, based on the principles of continuity, justice and progress. And in these processes, young people should play a decisive role.
Today, more than 684 thousand young people live in the city, of which over 218 thousand are university students. The “Roadmap of Youth Development and Support for 2017-2020” is being implemented. More than 20 thousand people were employed. Under the preferential housing program "Almaty Zhastary," 238 housing loans were issued for young families. General Director of Inno Track LLP Darkhan Kyzaybayev, whose company produces ferroconcrete sleepers using the German technology Vollert, spoke at the meeting. The annual capacity of the plant is 500 thousand sleepers, employs 100 people. He thanked the state for the current modern industrial policy, which opens the "door of opportunity" for inquisitive youth.
The speech of Kristina Bekmurzayeva, the head of the Youth Art, was also met with genuine interest. Members of the organization are actively involved in the implementation of the “City for People” concept. They established 10 high-level small architectural forms.
