Dariga Nazarbayeva meets with the Chairman of the Armenia's National Assembly

Chairman of the Senate Dariga Nazarbayeva met with Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, press service of the Senate reports.

They discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations, as well as cooperation within the framework of parliamentary organizations.

Dariga Nazarbayeva stressed that Armenia is a reliable partner of Kazakhstan in the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian economic Union.

"Relations between our States are developing dynamically in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust. I hope we will keep them and in the future we will only develop for the benefit of the people," she said.

The head of the Senate of the Parliament also considers it important to develop multilateral contacts within the framework of participation in the CIS IPA, CSTO PA, IPU and OSCE PA.

Dariga Nazarbayeva paid special attention to the group on cooperation between the parliaments of Kazakhstan and Armenia and noted the need to effectively use its potential for the exchange of experience in legislative activity.

In turn, the Chairman of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan called the Kazakh-Armenian relations friendly and allied. He also stressed that Armenia attaches great importance to the dynamic development of bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation with Kazakhstan.
