During the Opening Ceremony, the first and final positions of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 and the position of Host Country Poland were chosen by random draw. Australia will open the show and Serbia will close the Contest. Host country Poland was drawn in position 11.
The complete running order of the Contest was decided by the TVP core team and approved by Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand from the EBU. Yerzhan Maxim of Kazakhstan performs tenth.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by Telewizja Polska (TVP) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It will be held on 24 November 2019, at the Gliwice Arena in Gliwice, Poland, following the country's victory at the 2018 contest in Minsk, Belarus with the song "Anyone I Want to Be", performed by Roksana Węgiel. It will be the first time Poland has hosted the contest, as well as the first Eurovision event to be held in the country since the Eurovision Young Dancers 2013.
Nineteen countries will participate in the contest, with Spain taking part for the first time since 2006, while Azerbaijan and Israel have withdrawn from the contest.
